Alhamdulillah, we come upon another year to assist needy Muslims and minorities in India. Each year, rural villages across several states in India look forward in having IMRC visit. They know that when IMRC is there, they can look forward to a wonderful Eid.
Each year your generous donations provide needy Muslims Eid outfits and meat packages. Families can celebrate Eid with new clothes and a delicious meal.
IMRC’s Qurbani program assists those wishing to perform Qurbani and at the same time benefit needy Muslims in India. Our sister organization of 30 years is onsite in India ensuring that donations are delivered efficiently and on time.
Our 2010 program was held across 103 distribution centers. 2,000 Qurbani were performed with the meat distributed to over 12,000 families, benefitting 60,000 people! Alhamdulillah!
Thank you for your generosity and continued support. We hope you can support again!
Floods Hit North India
October 2, 2011 by admin · Leave a Comment

Floods are an annual occurrence in northeastern India during the monsoon season from June to September. This year they have struck again overtaking many areas of North India in which schools, homes, madrasas and entire villages have been clearly wiped away. Highly populated states such as Bihar, U.P, Orissa, Assam and West Bengal have been hit.
This time the flood has affected 18 districts including Patna, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Katihar, Nalanda, West Champaran, Khagaria, Sheikhpura, Purnia, Saran, Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Supaul, Saharsa, Madhepura and Araria. With such devastation comes the spread of epidemics such as cholera and other water-borne diseases.
It’s been approximated that over three million people in about 1000 villages are left homeless. The people in these flood stricken areas need immediate relief assistance and rehabilitation. In the past, IMRC has provided relief kits including food packets, water, clothing, medicine and temporary housing.
IMRC’s team is onsite working round the clock to provide as much help as possible, but cannot continue without your support.
We urge all of you to please assist IMRC in providing relief for these flood victims.
Help a flood victim today with your generous tax-deductible donation and keep them in your prayers!
