This is a campaign for legal justice and reconciliation for the survivors of Gujarat carnage of 2002 known by the name of ‘Nyayagraha.’ The Nyayagraha Project has begun to provide justice to victims and has persevered in the face of noncooperative authorities and intimidation of witnesses. In 2007, 1,578 cases were registered, 239 people were consented to trial and 267 arrests were made. It costs $250 to sponsor a case.
