Ramadan Appeal 2011 Assalamum Alaikum, Ramadan Mubarak! We, at IMRC pray that you are under the shade of Allah's mercy, in the circle of his generosity and in the remembrance of His Messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Today we wish you, your family, and all Muslim communities our sincerest best wishes for this the sacred month of Ramadan. During this blessed month, Muslims will fast, pray, reflect and contemplate. Ramadan is not only a time for family and friends, but a time to remember those who are less fortunate today. Alhamdulillah, as we all know, it is through fasting that the servant of Allah (SWT) is better able to understand the plight and trial of the hungry throughout the world. Every year, IMRC tries to support needy families in India during Ramadan, thanks to your Zakat, Fitra and other generous donations. IMRC's Ramadan Feeding Program $1 Feeds a Person for a Day $10 Buys a week's groceries for a family of 4 $30 Provides food, clothing an education for a child for one month $1000 Sends a deserving student to JIT for one year $2000 Supports an entire school in a remote village for one year $3000 Builds a permanent shelter for an orphan girl $5000 Operates a mobile medical clinic that treats 1200 sick individuals for one month $6000 Establishes a school library $12000 Builds a small village school & masjid Fitra $9.00 per person Clothe a Child this Eid with a new pair of clothes Delight as many poor children as you can with a new pair of clothes this Eid for $10 per child.
