Summer Volunteer Program
IMRC Summer Volunteer Program is a unique and exciting opportunity for muslim, college-age students to work with non-profit organizations in India. Summer volunteers spend five weeks traveling throughout India to learn about the challenges of non-profit work in a developing country. Volunteers gain insight into the cultural, social and economic state of the impoverished minorities living in India. They experience India’s rich history and heritage as they travel throughout the country. In the past, project locations have included: Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad. The Summer Volunteer Program is a dynamic experience volunteers will always remember.
